Hello Seniors of 2027!
Everyone will tell you, this is your year. But, what does that even mean?! It means so much. Excitement of walking the halls for the last time. Nervousness of college applications. Prom dresses, and final performances, and throwing your cap up in the air in celebration.
What you may not know yet, is that the photos we take this year are capturing you, right now, as a young adult. Think about the last time you had professional photos taken - were you an awkward teenager? A squishy cute baby? Most likely, the next time you'll have professional photo taken are when you get married or start a career after college.
So, let's make your senior portraits the best they can be. Let's go to your favorite spot, wear your favorite clothes, take a picture with your mom or sibling or best friend. Bring your awards. Shine up your car. Bring your guitar. Most of all, let's celebrate YOU.
Norah Burrows is an award-winning, professional wedding + portrait photographer based in the Wine Country of Northern California. She is a current member of PPA and active board member of Professional Photographers of the Wine Country. Norah was first mentored in the fine-art of portraiture while attaining her BA from SFSU. Over the years, she has continued her education by attending national conferences and is an active participant in PPWC's monthly image competition - a competition which as awarded her Best Portrait Photographer in 2020, Best Senior Portrait Photographer in 2020 and 2019, Best Portrait Photographer in 2016, and Best Wedding Photographer in 2015, as well as a multitude of other awards in studio and environmental portrait photography. She loves photographing everyone - from the rolls on a six month old baby, to the excitement of graduating high-school, to honoring the family tree, to the celebration of love. Norah currently resides in Sebastopol, California.
